About Anne

Anne (she/her) is an experienced HR leader, working within this discipline for over 30-years and holding leadership positions for the past 25-years. Anne has experience in both for profit and not-for-profit organizations spanning a variety of industries including health care, publishing, branding/design, and senior living. With a strong HR generalist background and an instinct for organizational strategy, her work has focused on aligning an organization's culture and values with its “people” practices to best meet the demands of ever-changing organizational dynamics.

Anne’s expertise in HR and organizational dynamics includes strategic planning, talent acquisition, performance development and management, benefit and compensation management, communication and information flow, leadership/followership training and development, employee engagement, and career/leadership coaching for individuals and groups at all levels of the organization.

Anne has experience working with individuals at all phases of their careers and at all levels of the organization. Often, workplace strategists consult with only those at the top of an organization. Anne’s real joy has been building key relationships with those who do the work, those who manage others, as well as those who are leading others. In particular, Anne has an affinity to coaching and advising other Human Resources professionals, often somewhat invisible to the customer, but fundamental to the strategic direction of the business and influential to the well-being of its people.

Anne grew up in Maine and relocated to Vermont in 2001. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree, as well as a Master’s degree in Public Administration, from the University of Maine. She is certified as a Senior Human Resources Professional by the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), certified Executive Coach with the International Coaching Federation, and has earned certification as an Organization Development Professional (ODCP) by the Institute of Organization Development.
